Pricing Questions

Q: How do you charge for flights on your aircraft?
A: By the flight hour
Q: HOW DO I PAY FOR A FLIGHT?
A: Full payment is required before departure and can be made by either: Visa, Amex, Wire Transfer or Cheque.
Q: How are hours billed?
A: Time in the air only‐ wheels up to wheels down.
Q: Is Taxi time billed?
A: No.
Q: What other chargers are there?
A: All additional fees associated with a charter are included in the retail quote you will receive
from Chartright under the line “Associated Costs”. These charges represent the cost of landing fees,
navigation fees, flight crew expenses, any parking or overnight costs, airport security costs, all
government travel taxes and fees. The associated costs are trip specific and typically represent
between 15‐20% of the aircraft flight hour charges also referred to as (aircraft charges). However
associated costs can vary up or down depending on the length of stay in destination and the size of
aircraft being utilized.
Q: So for example if I charter an aircraft for a day trip with 8 people for 4 hours @ $3,300/hr my
total “aircraft charges” would be $3,300 X 4 hours =$13,200 and my associated costs would be
around 15% of $13,200 or about $1,980, giving me a total price for the flight of $15,180 or $1,898 per
person.

A: Yes that’s correct.
Q: Will I receive unexpected additional charges after my flight?
A: No.
Q: I fly privately a lot, do you have a program that will save me more money when chartering
with you.

A: Yes it’s called a block hour program and programs start at 50 hours and typically save clients
an average of 15% over the cost of a Jet Card program. These savings are achieved because the client
is buying hours direct from Chartright‐ the aircraft management company possessing operational
control of the aircraft in the program. No brokers or middle man.
