Chartright Air Group adds two new Cessna aircraft

Chartright Air Group has announced that it has added two new Cessna aircraft, a Citation X and Citation Excel. The Cessna Citation X will be based at the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM). Manufactured by Cessna, the aircraft has a range of 3,000 nm and a cruise speed of 525 knots, making it the fastest cross-continental private jet in the world. The aircraft can accommodate 8 passengers onboard, and the combination of cabin size and economics makes Citation X well-suited for short, medium, and long-range flying.

The Cessna Citation Excel will be based in Chartright Air Group’s newest FBO located at the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport. The Citation Excel, a mid-size jet, offers impressive performance, reliability, and comfort. The aircraft can accommodate 7 passengers on board and can fly non-stop at 1,700 nautical miles at a cruise speed of 420 knots.

Chartright Installs Pro Line Fusion Flight Deck

Chartright Air Group, in conjunction with Mid Canada Mod Centre, has accomplished the first installation of a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion flight deck in a Canadian Challenger 604.

The Pro Line Fusion avionics suite provides enhanced efficiency, reliability, and safety. The system includes the following features: Synthetic vision, Touch screen interactive maps, Multi scan weather radar with advanced predictive threat assessment, Advanced flight management system, Localizer performance with vertical guidance, Future Air navigation system capabilities for overseas and continental digital ATC comms, and Controller pilot data link communication capability for flights within Europe.

The upgraded flight deck reduces pilots’ workload and improves operational efficiencies. The Pro Line Fusion Avionics organizes data by phases of flight, allowing pilots to better focus on the task at hand.

Chartright expands the Citation fleet

Chartright’s Citation fleet has grown by 50% with the Citation Excel and Encore addition. Both aircraft are based at the Toronto Pearson International Airport, YYZ.

The Citation Excel, a mid-size jet, offers impressive performance, reliability, and comfort. The aircraft provides a great experience to leisure and business travelers with the roomiest cabin in its class of corporate jets, two Pratt and William PW500 turbofan engines, and advanced Honeywell avionics. The Citation Encore is an enhanced version of the Citation Ultra, one of the most popular aircraft in the light jet category.
