Canadian‑registered aircraft often face challenges accessing Transport Canada–approved maintenance while operating in the United States. ChartrightGO was created to solve that problem—and it marks an industry milestone. Chartright is the first Canadian private management company to provide mobile, Transport Canada–licensed maintenance directly to aircraft in the U.S.

With technicians licensed by both Transport Canada and the FAA, ChartrightGO can perform and release maintenance in full compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations without the aircraft needing to return to Canada. This support applies to major aircraft types flown by Canadian operators, including Global, Challenger, Learjet and Citation models.

Cross‑Border Maintenance, Simplified

ChartrightGO is designed to fit seamlessly into existing flight operations. When maintenance is needed, a dual‑licensed technician is dispatched directly to the aircraft. The work is completed onsite, in accordance with Canadian standards, and operators receive the documentation required to remain fully compliant while flying in the U.S. This avoids unnecessary repositioning, reduces paperwork and keeps trips moving as planned.

Coverage is available across the Southeastern United States, including:

  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Alabama
  • South Carolina

Service to nearby regions may be arranged depending on availability and logistics.

Why Canadian Support Matters

ChartrightGO reflects an important principle in Canadian aviation: Canadians supporting Canadians. By becoming the first Canadian private aviation operator to offer Transport Canada–licensed mobile maintenance in the United States, Chartright provides operators with a dependable, home‑grown solution when they are flying abroad. This keeps maintenance expertise, regulatory understanding and operational support within the Canadian system, strengthening reliability for operators and reinforcing the value of Canadian companies investing in Canadian‑registered aircraft. It ensures that when aircraft and crews are outside the country, they still have access to Canadian standards, Canadian oversight and a level of support built specifically for the way Canadian operators fly.

The ChartrightGO Advantage

  • First Canadian private aviation management company and operator to offer Transport Canada–licensed mobile maintenance in the U.S.
  • Rapid response from dual‑licensed Transport Canada and FAA technicians
  • On‑demand service across the Southeastern United States
  • Tools, parts and expertise delivered directly to the aircraft
  • Minimized downtime and uninterrupted mission continuity

ChartrightGO gives Canadian operators a straightforward, compliant and efficient way to manage maintenance during U.S. operations—without major disruptions.

The aircraft — designed and manufactured in Canada — has been delivered to Canada’s leader in private jet management, underscoring the country’s leadership in world-class business jet manufacturing.

This latest delivery builds on a strong foundation. In 2021 Chartright became the first Canadian operator to introduce the Global 7500 to its fleet, where only two days later, taking delivery of a second Global 7500. Passenger comfort and well-being remain central to its design. The Global 8000 features the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation — just 2,691 ft at a cruise altitude of 41,000 ft — supporting reduced fatigue and improved alertness on long-haul flights.

Strengthening Canada’s Aviation Legacy

The delivery of the first Global 8000 to a Canadian operator further reinforces Canada’s role as a leader in advanced aircraft manufacturing. Bombardier supports a global fleet of more than 5,100 business aircraft in service worldwide. Honouring Tradition: Chartright and the Royal Winter Fair

Honouring Tradition: Chartright and the Royal Winter Fair

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (RWF) is a cherished Canadian tradition that has celebrated excellence in agriculture, livestock, and equestrian sport for over a century. As one of the world’s most prestigious indoor agricultural and equestrian events, it continues to draw elite riders, remarkable horses, and passionate enthusiasts from across the globe.

Chartright is proud to sponsor this iconic event—specifically, the Jumping World Cup™ North American League competition—showcasing our shared commitment to performance, precision, and excellence.

For those attending the RWF, we offer tailored private aviation solutions designed to complement the sophistication and efficiency of the event itself. In this article, we’ll explore our partnership with the RWF and highlight why private jet travel has become an essential advantage within the equestrian community.

The FEI Jumping World Cup North American Circuit – A Continental Journey

Before reaching the competition final that takes place in Fort Worth, Texas, riders and teams attending the FEI Jumping World Cup can travel to several key destinations. They follow the 2025–2026 North American League calendar, which includes the following locations:

  • Williamsburg, MI (Traverse City) – September 2025
  • Upper Marlboro, MD (Washington) – October 2025
  • Toronto, ON – November 2025
  • Arcadia, CA (Los Angeles) – November 2025
  • Thermal, CA – January 2026
  • Puebla, Mexico – February 2026
  • Ocala, FL (WEC) – February 2026
  • Fort Worth, TX – April 2026

Private aviation makes it effortless for riders, owners, spectators, and RWF event goers to attend several events in Canada and North America. The private aviation services of aviation companies ensure that commercial and travel constraints are avoided and equestrian enthusiasts can make the most of their time at each event in the competition.

Flying in Style – The Chartright Advantage for Equestrian Travel

In many ways, Chartright’s private jet charter and world-class air travel services elevate the equestrian experience to new heights, enhancing the flexibility, convenience, and comfort of riders, teams, and eventgoers alike. Designed with the discerning equestrian community in mind, Chartright’s bespoke aviation solutions provide the following distinct advantages:

Flexibility

With fully customized flight schedules, Chartright Air Group empowers RWF riders, teams, and enthusiasts to align their travel perfectly with competition calendars. Whether flying between Washington, Toronto, Los Angeles, or Puebla, Mexico, clients enjoy seamless mobility—without the delays and unpredictability of commercial travel.

Convenience

Chartright’s private aviation network grants access to smaller regional airports located near event showgrounds. For those attending competitions in Thermal or Ocala, this means arriving closer to the venue—eliminating the need for lengthy ground transfers often required from distant commercial airports.

Comfort

Each Chartright aircraft features comfortable cabins tailored to the needs of riders, owners, and teams competing at the RWF. These serene environments provide the ideal space to rest, recover, and refocus between events, ensuring peak performance when it matters most.

Efficiency

By offering direct routes between major competition cities, Chartright removes the inconvenience of commercial layovers and complex travel logistics. The result is a faster, smoother, and more effortless journey from one event to the next.

At Chartright, we are committed to world-class excellence in every charter experience. Our dedication to precision, performance, and exceptional care mirrors the same values that define equestrian sport at its finest—as showcased at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

From Stable to Sky – How Do Horses Travel Internationally?

Chartright also understands that international travel for equestrian events includes riders, teams, and horses. The latter make their journey in specially designed aircraft stalls. They travel with professional grooms and veterinarians to ensure their safe transportation.

Horses must have equine passports, which record the identity of the horse and a detailed medical history. If this is lacking, the horse cannot leave the aircraft. Temperature controlled environments are a must, and the space should remain at 14º – 17ºC to prevent overheating.

They additionally need structured rest schedules, so between destinations, the horses will go through quarantine periods and then to a stable for a period of rest before they begin the next part of the journey. The length of each break will depend on the length of the entire journey.

To coordinate the safe arrival of the horses, specialized logistics companies assist with the quarantine periods. Equestrian logistics experts organize the entire journey, starting with the initial consultation to the hand over process to the flying grooms. They also arrange ground transportation to take the horses from the airport to the event.

Both riders and horses rely on specialized transportation – one in equine air stalls, the other in luxury jets available through Chartright. This ensures exemplary performance when the team arrives.

Connecting the Circuit – From Toronto to Fort Worth & Beyond

The FEI World Cup completes a journey. It makes its way from locations such as Toronto, Ontario, Canada through the North American circuit, with the final taking place in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Chartright makes it easy for spectators and competing teams to move seamlessly between these major equestrian locations as it offers domestic and international charters.

Chartright additionally offers a range of bases and fleets Canada- and US-wide. This ensures travel between the competition’s cities is reliable and convenient; the bases ensure maintenance, aircraft management, and refuelling services are available for private jets when required.

Chartright and the RWF – A Shared Commitment to Excellence

At Chartright Air Group we are as committed to charter flight excellence and equestrian logistic support as the RWF and FEI is to preeminence in equestrian sport. Just as the FEI demands precision, preparation, and performance and is driven by passion and perfection, so too does Chartright strive for exemplary performance.

Chartright takes immense pride in supporting the equestrian legacy of Canada and is pleased to be a part of the FEI World Cup journey. Whether you’re traveling to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto or following the World Cup circuit across North America, Chartright Air Group ensures your journey reflects the same elegance and excellence found in the sport itself. Contact Chartright to learn more about our commitment to preeminence in charter flight services to the FEI.

Why Private Jet Travel Is the Best Option for Pet Owners

Why Private Jet Travel Is the Best Option for Pet Owners

As they make plans for domestic or international travel, plans that include their furry friends, many pet owners seek to keep the ordeal, noise, and discomfort from impacting their beloved pet companions. Commercial airlines are known to be busy and potentially overwhelming, with thousands of passengers passing through airports and pets taking their place in a separate cargo hold during the flight. But with private aviation, pets can experience a soothing journey.

At Chartright Air Group, we understand that comfortable and stress-free experiences give you and your pets peace of mind as you take to the skies. In this article, we will share some of the pet-friendly elements and benefits you and your companions can look forward to in private aviation.

Why Flying Commercial with Pets is Challenging

Many pet owners face a few challenges when flying commercial with their beloved companions. Not only do commercial flight arrangements involve navigating busy airports, which can take an emotional toll on pets and owners, they potentially face size and breed restrictions on the airline.

When travelling with pets on commercial airlines, additional stresses can apply. Pets need to travel in cargo hold spaces where the temperature, pressure, separation, and discomfort can cause pet companions to experience anxiety.

Private Jet Travel: Removing Stress for Pets and Owners

A significant contrast is noted when pet owners travelling with their companions choose private jet charters for their journey. Some of the flight services and benefits that both pets and pet owners notice include the following:

No Separation – Pets can remain in the cabin of the aircraft throughout the journey. This minimizes their stress, as owners can alleviate their companions’ fears during the flight.

Shorter Travel – Since our jets can reach the destination faster, pets will not need to be in the air for such a long duration. Shorter air travel means beloved pets on a charter flight are exposed to environmental stressors for less time.

Fewer Airport Procedures – Direct boarding is possible as part of private jet charter services, meaning that pets do not need to go through as many boarding processes as commercial airlines. With fewer boarding procedures, pets experience less stress.

Fewer Restrictions – On private jet charter flights, pet owners do not need to adhere to restrictions such as ensuring their companions wear a muzzle, a leash, or are placed in a crate. Within reason, pets can experience a more comfortable flight with fewer restrictions.

Comfortable Cabins for Both Pets and their Owners

Additionally, pets and their owners can look forward to comfortable cabins that align with the needs of both travellers. The cabins offer the following advantages:

Quiet Environment – Unlike busy commercial airlines, private jet charter flights offer a quiet environment far away from the bustle of crowds and loud noises. This comfortable, quiet environment helps pets stay calm.

Climate-Controlled Cabins – Pets can experience the right temperature on board the private flight thanks to the climate-controlled cabins they offer. No matter whether they are travelling during warm or cold months, pet owners and their pets can travel comfortably.

Custom Accommodations – Alongside the quiet environment, animals can receive custom accommodations to enhance their comfortable journey. Accommodations include pet beds, water dishes, treats, and various other items to keep pets content throughout the journey.

Schedules that are Flexible and Convenient

With the flexible and convenient schedules that flying private offers, animals and their owners experience a more relaxing journey. These flights are flexible in the following ways:

Fly According to a Specific Pet-Friendly Schedule – Pet owners can arrange to fly when it suits them and their furry companion on a private aircraft. They can align the journey with the pet’s routine, ensuring less deviation from a well-established schedule.

Pet-Friendly Destinations – Travellers who own pets will be able to select pet-friendly destinations that align with their needs. They can also access these locations more directly on a private jet charter flight than on a commercial airline.

Faster Boarding Processes – Charter flights significantly minimize anxiety for pets thanks to faster boarding and deplaning processes.

Safety First: Trained Crews & Protocols for Pet Travel

Alongside flexible and convenient flight schedules, pet owners and their animals will also travel with unparalleled safety protocols and trained crews. The following safety benefits apply to a pet-friendly private jet charter:

Crews with Pet Handling Experience – Crews on board private flights have pet-handling travel experience and fully understand how to minimize stress in the air.

Adjustable Oxygen and Pressure Levels – It is possible to adjust the oxygen and pressure levels so that optimal flight conditions align with the pet’s requirements.

Medical Requirements Available – With meticulous pre-flight planning during private jet travel with pets, it is possible to schedule medical or behavioural needs to keep the pet calm and healthy throughout the journey.

Travel Alongside Your Beloved Companion: Fly Private with Your Pet with Chartright

Pet owners who want to travel without leaving their furry companions behind can easily do this with private aviation. If you are looking to make your trip a door-to-door experience for the entire family, pets included, chartering a jet is the solution. Your pet deserves comfort in the air, too. Contact Chartright to arrange a private jet charter that aligns with your needs as well as your furry companions’.

Light Jets for Private Charter in Canada

Light jet fleets are a convenient and efficient private jet option for short to mid-range trips. Depending on your flight itinerary, they are a top choice for charter flights, providing advantages for passengers. Chartright Air Group understands that these light jets are nimble, convenient, and comfortable, whether you are travelling for business or leisure.

But why else might you consider light jets for private charter flights in Canada? In this article, we will look closely at their features and the routes they can pass through. We will consider their key advantages that take travel to the next level of comfort.

Why Choose a Light Jet for Private Charter

An incredible range of advantages comes with light jet private charter travel. Travellers can enjoy their flight experience thanks to the incredible benefits below:

  • Speed and Efficiency – Whether you are travelling for leisure or business, light jets offer speed and efficiency on short to mid-range routes. Their fuel efficiency and their incredible 400 – 480 mph cruise speed mean that these jets can work perfectly for short trips. They are also well-known for their low operating costs.
  • Major and Regional Airport Access – The unsurpassed convenience of light jets is seen in their ability to access regional and major airports. Although ground transportation may be required to reach a hotel, such as a taxi, passengers get closer to their final destination as these types of aircraft can effortlessly operate on the shorter runways of smaller, regional airports.
  • This means that despite an airport’s small size, commencing and completing a journey is no problem for a light jet, which can take off and land on the runway thanks to the craft’s advanced thrust reversers, lighter weight, smaller size, and high-grade aerodynamics.
  • Cost-effective for 7-8 Passengers – These jets have the optimum capacity to accommodate seven or eight passengers. They are cost-effective for those who seek the comfort and speed of private jet journeys but do not want to worry about large jet operational costs.
  • Perfect for Getaways and Business Travel – The versatility of light jets is also appealing and convenient. Whether passengers need to travel for business purposes, such as conference meetings, or quick getaways and shared affiliation journeys, such as organizations or clubs, this is easy to arrange.

From Tee to Tarmac: Golf Legends and Their Private Jets

Private aviation offers elite athletes the luxury and flexibility they need to stay competitive. In professional golf, many top players rely on private jets to reach tournaments efficiently and comfortably. This high-end mode of travel isn’t just about style—it’s about performance, privacy, and convenience.

At Chartright Air Group, we recognize the strong connection between private aviation and tournament preparation. We also understand why private jet travel—and even ownership—has become the go-to option for many of golf’s biggest names. In this article, we’ll highlight some of the private jets favoured by professional golfers and explore why these aircraft perfectly align with their fast-paced, travel-heavy lifestyle.

Reasons Pro Golfers Choose Private Jets

Many professional golfers need to optimize their intense travel schedules. For instance, PGA tour travel and travel to the LIV Golf tour can include long-distance journeys that can make these professionals tired.

Resting between tournaments or during journeys can help enhance their performance, and private jet travel ensures golfers can perform better and feel sharper following a luxury flight. This is possible because of the customized itineraries and less stressful flight conditions that such flights offer.

Professional golfers might additionally seek to boost their networking opportunities during their intense tours. For instance, they may want to attract additional sponsorship opportunities for their career. This goal can be easier with an improved brand image, which is reflected in the opulence of flying private.

Professional Golfers and their Private Jets

A range of private jet models is preferred by professional golfers. Chartright Air Group will here look at the top private jets that pro golfers use and explore the specifications that make them the number one choice.

Tiger Woods: Gulfstream G550

Tiger Woods has chosen the Gulfstream G550, an aircraft with a 6,750 NM, or 7,770-mile range and a maximum capacity of 19 passengers. This private jet also features advanced avionics, and uses the Honeywell Primus Epic suite, which features an enhanced guidance and vision system.

Woods used the Gulfstream G550 for more than 40 flights during 2024 and visited a range of airports that are close to major golf courses. Some examples of Woods frequently visited airports include Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, and Moore County Airport in North Carolina.

This specific private jet use reflects Woods’ commitment to professional golfing excellence. The jet conveniently takes the golfer directly to the locations where he can hone his skills.

Phil Mickelson: Gulfstream V

Phil Mickelson is a certified pilot who previously owned a Gulfstream V. This private aircraft has a 6,500 NM range and can easily accommodate a maximum of 18 passengers.

The Gulfstream V aligned well with this expert golfer’s career in other ways. It is a long-range jet capable of covering many miles. For instance, Mickelson once travelled from California to the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The cross-country flight took place overnight, leaving Mickelson on the golf course a few hours before starting the 2013 tournament.

Mickelson’s global tournament reach is significant, and significant travel is involved. Nonetheless, getting to other tournaments, such as the PGA Championship, the WGC-Mexico Championship, and the European Tour, is still easy for him. He now uses private charter jet flights for effortless travel.

Rory McIlroy Gulfstream G650ER

Rory McIlroy flies the Gulfstream G650ER, an aircraft with a range of 7,500 NM or 8,600 miles. Its cabin can be customized, meaning passengers can select specific interior options that align with their comfort needs. With various zones, such as a full kitchen and club seating, the G650ER takes luxury flight comfort to a new level.

The Gulfstream G650ER allows for long-distance travel, and McIlroy uses this model to fly to golf tournaments such as the Houston Open 2025. When taking trips in the G650ER to these courses before the events, his goal is to see whether any greens have been changed, which helps him spot any differences in hole positions. Quick private flights make it easy to prepare for these tournaments so that McIlroy is ready to perform his best.

Chartering vs. Owning: What Other Golfers Do

Owning a jet is not the only option for professional golfers who prefer luxury travel. Like Mickelson, other players like Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and new golfers choose air charter flights. There are multiple advantages to using charter flights, such as the following benefits:

Minimized travel fatigue – Since they can depart and arrive at times that match their body’s clock, golfers will experience less travel fatigue and jet lag on a charter service. Less disruptions to the circadian rhythm help new golfers feel more prepared for the tournament.

More preparation time – With direct routes to the golf course, travel time is minimized. New golfers can have more time to practice their skills instead of being in the air for long periods of time, such as during commercial flights.

Flexibility without maintenance costs – New golfers can gain storage and flexibility benefits with a charter flight and will not need to pay maintenance or storage costs.

Increased safety and security – Charter flights offer better safety and security protocols than commercial flights. This keeps expensive golf equipment, personnel, pro golfers, and teams safe, giving them peace of mind during the journey.

How Private Jet Charters Help Golfers Perform at their Peak Level

Mental focus is key for professional golfers. As mentioned, proper rest can offer them this advantage. But high-level golf players also perform at their peak level following a private jet journey because they can play more international events and practice more frequently.

Additional benefits include reducing delays between tournaments. Such delays often occur on commercial flights or on busy airlines. By choosing a private flight, professional golfers reduce distractions that may affect their performance.

Chartright, Bombardier, and Region of Waterloo International Airport Partner to Support Final Production and Certification of Global Aircraft

Waterloo, ON – May, 14th 2025 – Chartright Air Group, Canada’s leading private aviation operator, is proud to join forces with Bombardier (BBD-B.TO) and the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) to support the final production and quality assurance for Bombardier Global aircraft. Bombardier is recognized globally for producing the best-performing aircraft for the world’s most discerning people and businesses, governments and militaries.

As part of this collaboration, Bombardier has taken residency in Chartright’s newly expanded hangar and FBO facility located at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. After select Bombardier Global aircraft roll off the production line at the company’s Aircraft Assembly Centre at Pearson International Airport (YYZ), they will undergo a review and inspection at Chartright’s facility in order obtain a Certificate of Airworthiness. This review is meant to resolve discrepancies before the aircraft is fully certified and serviceable for normal flight operations. The aircraft is subsequently flown from Chartright’s YKF facility to Bombardier’s Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre in Montreal, Quebec (YUL), where it undergoes paint and interior installation.

Why Chartright and YKF or the Region of Waterloo International Airport?

Chartright’s facility at YKF fulfills Bombardier’s requirements for added production capability and its proximity to their new Toronto production facility at Pearson International Airport (YYZ).  This arrangement provides the flexibility and support needed for efficient final production quality checks.

As Bombardier’s largest Canadian customer, Chartright’s unwavering commitment to product excellence and distinguished client service makes this partnership an ideal choice to support Bombardier’s production needs.

“Our shared values of superior quality and exceptional service make this collaboration a natural fit,” said Constantine Tsokas, Senior Vice President of Chartright. “Together with the Region of Waterloo International Airport, we are proud to support Bombardier’s efforts to deliver the world’s most exceptional business aircraft, providing a working environment which accommodates their requirements.”

“Bombardier is proud to be working alongside Chartright Air Group and the Region of Waterloo International Airport on the final stages of production and certification for our industry-leading Global family of business jets,” said Graham Kelly, Vice President, Toronto and Red Oak Operations, Bombardier. “This new collaboration allows us not only to support the local aviation industry in Waterloo, but to continue deepening our ties in Ontario.”

YKF plays a supporting role by providing a flexible and accommodating environment for testing and certification flights. As one of Canada’s fastest-growing airports, YKF provides the necessary infrastructure and support to handle the unique requirements for the final stages of aircraft production. Bombardier can conduct last-minute testing, maintenance flights, and certification activities in this conducive environment.

“We are excited to welcome Bombardier to YKF,” said Karen Redman, Chair of the Region of Waterloo. “Supporting a global supply chain is another milestone in establishing Waterloo Region as a hub for aviation and aerospace. The continued investment in our airport continues to pave the way for economic growth and job creation across the region. Congratulations to Chartright and Bombardier. YKF is proud to play a part in delivery of business aircraft around the world.”

Supporting Canadian Aviation Excellence

This collaboration underscores the importance of collaboration within the Canadian aviation sector, with Chartright, Bombardier, and Region of Waterloo International Airport working together to achieve one goal: getting some of the best business jets in the world airborne.
